Education And Orphans' Support Fund

For period of five (5) years, CIDA Uganda intends to Educate and support 10,000 orphans across Uganda using its Orphans’ Support Fund and requires funding totaling to USD 25,631,713. This will be a huge milestone in helping the needy Orphans in Uganda. USD 11,973,048 will fund a total of 6,000 orphans.

CIDA Uganda through its CIDA Orphans’ Support Fund has for the past four years had the interest of putting up community Orphans’ Schools across the nation. But due to limited resources, this has not been realized. Over the past four years, CIDA Uganda has been providing shelter, basic care and education support to homeless children and orphans as well as providing children from different parts of the country with free care, counseling, school supplies and education scholarships, health care, among others.

Most of the Orphans and other vulnerable children come from broken or poverty stricken families and our Centers are safe places for them, whenever they need help. Our staff and volunteers do a remarkable job in the limited spaces and budget lines available to make a difference. With your help, we would like to build new facilities to educate as well as accommodate many more deserving children. It is our mission as an organization to put up such projects that contribute a very positive change.

We aim to provide hope for the future of economically disadvantaged and orphaned Ugandan children who are interested and able to attend school. Since our inception in 2020, we strongly believe and strive to see that every orphaned child is sponsored for the duration of their education. CIDA Uganda will not stop sponsoring the child after one month or one year just because someone has stopped sponsoring an Orphan; this is what makes our Orphan Support Program unique.

CIDA Uganda aims to aid muslims especially children to Study and memorize the Holy Qur'an as Ibn Taymiyyah said,” Concerning seeking to memorize the Quran, it has precedence over much of what the people call knowledge, and is either falsehood or of little benefit.”
