Building access to clean water for the people living in the Slums

Contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio in the congested areas of kampala. Joinn us save lives in Uganda's Largest slum where clean is oftenly  Absent, inadequate, or inappropriately managed. Poor water and sanitation management expose individuals to preventable health risks. This is particularly the case in health care facilities where both parents and children are placed at additional risk of infection and disease when water, sanitation and hygiene services are lacking.

According to UNICEF, approximately 319 million people in sub-Saharan Africa do not have access to improved reliable drinking water sources. This not only poses significant health risks but also perpetuates a cycle of poverty and inequality
