Free Clean Water

Building access to clean water in support of Sustainable Development Goal 6

Through targeted water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) construction projects, CIDA Uganda works to bring clean water, essential sanitation and hygiene facilities to homes, schools and health centres so that children can grow and learn in a safe environment. Recently, CIDA Uganda has been building increasingly complex WASH projects.

In an inspiring move to enhance the quality of life in the Kiganda – Kasokoso community, CIDA Uganda is well renowned for its dedication to providing aid, improving healthcare, and transforming lives in impoverished communities, is a beacon of hope for those in need. Through the collaborative efforts of CIDA Uganda, this project has the potential to change lives.

It all began when community engagements with the Kiganda community revealed a pressing issue_the need for better access to affordable, safe water. A stark realization that this collaboration is paramount; a lifeline for the residents of Kiganda – Kasokoso.

Notably, a total of 8 water points are set to be commissioned as a part of this initiative, and the significance of this endeavor cannot be overstated.

This initiative aligns seamlessly with the core mission of CIDA Uganda to sustainably and equitably provide accesible, quality water. The delight of all stakeholders is at the forefront of this mission, and it encompasses a commitment to conserving the environment, ensuring that future generations also benefit from the fruits of this undertaking.

Access to clean, affordable water will no longer be a distant dream but a daily reality for the residents of Kiganda – Kasokoso.

CIDA Uganda is committed to “Water for All”.
